Lind Residence

PHOENIX, ARIZONA

An outdoor retreat designed for gathering and unwinding. Architectural shade structures frame spaces for dining and relaxation, while layered planting brings color, texture, and softness to the garden.

NR Residence

GOODYEAR, ARIZONA

Connected to the landscape. Designed for life together.

Framed by mountain views, this contemporary home extends into outdoor spaces for gathering, play, and quiet retreat. A pool, outdoor kitchen, dining area, and fire pit bring family life outside, while gardens soften the architectural lines.

Smaller seating areas connect directly to adjoining rooms, offering more private places to unwind. An open lawn provides flexible space for recreation, and considered lighting carries the landscape from day into evening.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA

A desert landscape, envisioned in detail.

Native planting, sculptural forms, and a low-maintenance approach shape a landscape rooted in its Arizona setting. Thoughtful lighting adds depth and atmosphere as day turns to evening.

Working with landscape architect Jerry Moar, Afora Design developed 3D visualizations that allowed the clients to explore the proposed landscape, refine details, and understand the design before installation.

MEET THE DESIGNER

Mariana Pereira

Originally from Brazil and shaped by years in the Arizona desert, I bring a love of nature and an architectural perspective to landscape design.

With a degree in landscape architecture from Arizona State University and experience since 2015, I create outdoor spaces that feel connected to your home and personal to you.

Now based in Frisco, Texas, I begin each project by listening to how you live—and imagining what your outdoor space could become.
